Questions about ongoing Italy–USA assistance

How is the monthly fee determined?

The monthly fee is calibrated case-by-case to the complexity of your structure (number of entities, jurisdictions, asset classes, recurring touchpoints). The preliminary consultation is a 45-minute paid online session ($250); the engagement letter with the agreed fee is signed before activation.

Is a preliminary conversation required before starting a retainer?

Yes. We do not engage retainer clients without first mapping your situation — it ensures the right tier and the right scope. The preliminary consultation is a 45-minute paid online session ($250).

What happens if I exceed the monthly hour allocation?

We notify you in advance when an issue is likely to push past the included hours so you can decide whether to proceed at the agreed hourly supplement or defer.

Can I downgrade or pause the retainer?

After the 6-month minimum, you can move to a lower tier with 30 days' notice or pause for up to 90 days during periods of low activity.

Do you coordinate with my US CPA and Italian commercialista?

Yes — that is part of the retainer's purpose. We sit between the two, ensuring Quadro RW / FBAR / 1040 / Form 5471 line up across jurisdictions.

Are FBAR and Quadro RW filings included?

Coordination, review and content provision are included. Actual filing in Italy is performed by your Italian commercialista; FBAR filing is performed by you with our written instructions, or by us at a separately agreed fee.
